People from all ages and levels of musical experience can choose from daily workshops in these areas of interest as well as join in the informal jam sessions, ceilidhs, and a final concert at week's end where participants can join in with the School staff and is open to the public. |
All levels from beginner to advanced enjoy instruction from all featured instructors for the week and each week will concentrate exclusively on that level of ability.

- Full week instruction in fiddle or piano and stepdancing
All fiddle students take one hour instruction each day with each of the master fiddle teachers regardless of what level they are in, for a total of 3 hours + per day.
- Stepdance and Squaredance instruction in the afternoon
- Master Concert on Monday evening (separate admission fee)
- Jam sessions at a local pub
- Tea and oatcakes, biscuits each day during breaks
- Friday night concert/jam session with instructors
- And even more is included because we are situated in the heartland of fiddle country! Local ceilidhs, concerts and dances with incredible Cape Breton musicians nightly! You'll have a lot to choose from!
- Monday night: Dance at Brook Village
- Tuesday night: Mabou Ceilidh
- Wednesday night: OUR JAM SESSION AT LOCAL PUB. Wednesday Mabou Dance or Normaway Barn concert/dance
- Thursday night: Ceilidh at Inverness Fire Hall (local talent each week; and you may get a chance to perform before the local community!) Famous Glencoe Mills Dance following.
- Friday night: Community supper our concert together.
Later that evening: Dance at Southwest Margaree Hall.
- Saturday and Sunday - out door festivals/concerts in the local villages.
Including Broad Cove Concert - July 30th (The largest outdoor Scottish concert on the island; Big Pond, Port Hood Days, Judique on the Floor Days, St. Joseph du Moine festival....the list goes on.
